I moved my own computer account to a test OU, linked the GPO to it, and ran gpupdate /force and then gpresult /r to confirm it was applied. The other is located in C:\Users\*username*\Desktop on every machine, so I'm telling the GP to delete %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\shortcut2.lnk One is located in C:\Users\Public\Desktop on every machine, so I'm telling the GP to delete %PUBLIC%\Desktop\shortcut1.lnk I want to use Group Policy to delete them. ![]() Everyone has two shortcuts on their desktop that are no longer used.
